Marc André Bertet brings a superior academic background to the field of family law. He has successfully handled complex marital dissolution proceedings with challenging financial and custody issues. Mr. Bertet also has valuable experience in civil litigation, having represented clients in civil rights and employment law actions; his background in civil litigation is an invaluable asset to his practice of family law.
Mr. Bertet majored in History at the University of California, Los Angeles, graduating summa cum laude from the prestigious Honors College with a Bachelor of Arts degree in 1997. He received his Law Degree from Loyola Law School, Los Angeles, in 2001 and was admitted to practice in California in January 2002. While at Loyola Law School, Mr. Bertet was recognized for writing a Top 10 Brief in the annual Scott Moot Court competition and received the First Honors Award in Antitrust.
He is currently a member of the Family Law Section of the State Bar of California, the Los Angeles County Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association. He is an active member in a unique study group of young family law practitioners from prestigious family law firms in Los Angeles.
