Emma Bell
Associate Attorney
Emma Bell is an associate attorney whose career has been exclusively centered around family law long before earning her Juris Doctorate degree. While an undergraduate at UC Berkeley, Ms. Bell completed a year of service assisting self-represented litigants through the Justice Corps Bay Area Program, where she volunteered at Bay Area Legal Aid clinics by drafting domestic violence restraining orders for community members in need of urgent help. After graduating with her Bachelor’s Degree in Sociology from UC Berkeley in 2020, Ms. Bell was selected as a Fellow for the Bay Area Justice Corps program, where she worked under the Honorable Keith Kern Fong at the Hayward Hall of Justice. During her fellowship, Ms. Bell worked with self-represented litigants to provide them with the legal information needed to effectively process their case, staffed legal clinics, and drafted court orders.
After finishing her yearlong fellowship, Ms. Bell attended and graduated from UCLA Law School in 2024. During law school, Ms. Bell worked as a law clerk each summer for various esteemed family law firms where she further solidified her passion for assisting families during difficult divorces and child custody disputes. During her Spring 2023 semester, Ms. Bell worked as an extern at the Levitt Quinn Family Law Center, where she assisted self-represented litigants obtain divorces and domestic violence restraining orders. During her Spring 2024 semester, Ms. Bell also participated in the Domestic Violence Prevention Clinic at UCLA, where she successfully obtained a restraining order for her client under the supervision of her Professor as well as staffed Legal Aid Foundation of Los Angeles’ clinics at the Stanley Mosk Courthouse.
Ms. Bell is a member of the California Bar Association, the Los Angeles Bar Association, and the Beverly Hills Bar Association and the family law sections for each.
